I'm Benny Schaeling, born in 1983, living near Cologne – back in a time when the world was still reasonably well-behaved, computers were mysterious machines, and music was, somehow, just better. 😉 Today, I'm an IT Systems Architect, family man, volunteer firefighter, youth football coach, and a passionate collector of ideas, projects, and things that simply need to be tried out.

This website is my own little corner of the internet – somewhere between a digital business card, photo gallery, workshop, and playground. You'll find projects I'm working on, technical experiments, APIs, development test environments, and other things that may never become a finished product but are still interesting enough to build. There are also photos, stories, and the occasional post from my blog.
And then there's music. I write my own lyrics and use AI to turn them into songs – which, of course, deserve a place here as well. I also organize my own music quiz twice a year in a local pub. What starts as a harmless evening of playing a few songs can turn into a surprisingly sophisticated little technical production. 😄
In short: this is me – my family, my projects, my music, my ideas, and a healthy amount of nerdiness in between. Not everything needs to have a deeper meaning. Sometimes you just build something because you can. And sometimes because you really want to find out whether it actually works.
